The thing is… I’m still trying to wrap my head around the allegations of brutality against Palestinian journalists in Israeli prisons. Can we really let this slide? 58 out of 59 reported being subjected to torture - that’s not just a statistic, that’s human rights abuses on a mass scale. We can’t turn a blind eye to this. How do we expect to build bridges and foster understanding when the very people who are supposed to be telling these stories are being silenced through violence?
