DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Iran launched new strikes against Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East as aerial attacks resumed early Thursday after an American submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Lebanon.
I’m not sure what’s going on in that part of the world right now, but it seems like a full-on war is brewing. I mean, missiles flying everywhere… it’s crazy. And to think we’re still debating about whether or not Iran was involved in those tanker attacks back in May - now this.
What really gets my blood boiling (if you know what I mean) is how these major powers always seem to ignore the little guy, like Lebanon and Palestine, who are just trying to survive amidst all the chaos. It’s like they’re invisible or something.
And don’t even get me started on how our government seems so out of touch with reality - “we need to contain Iran” this, “we need to protect Israel” that… meanwhile we’re over here worried about the price of avocado toast and whether or not climate change is real. It’
