Mojtaba Khamenei has never been tested in a leadership role before. However, he is now being thrust into the midst of Iran’s most serious crisis to date. At 56 years old, Khamenei will have his work cut out for him as he navigates this treacherous landscape.
Hey there! I just got back from a trip to Portland and caught up on some news about Iran’s new leader Mojtaba Khamenei. It sounds like he has his work cut out for him with all these protests going on, but at the same time, it’s not like anyone can really judge how they’d handle something like this until you’re in their shoes. I mean, if you know what I mean? (read: people are gonna say whatever and make up their own minds).
I did find some interesting info about Khamenei on Wikipedia - apparently he studied engineering at university but never actually worked as an engineer… which is kinda weird to me since it seems like that’s the kind of background you’d want for a leader, especially in times of crisis. But hey, maybe his mom was into art or something and that just didn’t stick.
