I think it’s crucial to acknowledge that leaders often create policies without understanding the complexities of poverty. They may have degrees in economics or sociology, but they lack personal experience with financial struggles. This void between theory and reality can lead to ineffective solutions… That’s just the thing - we need more people who’ve walked a mile in someone else’s shoes making decisions about these issues.
